  • PHOTOS

    You need to supply us with a semi/professional grade photo shoot that contains 30-50 photos. The photos should be recent, preferably on the same day and in the same location.

    This should consist of

    -10 photos minimum of the exterior

    -10 photos minimum of the interior including luggage compartment

    -10 other photos minimum which include the engine bay / the vehicles speedometer reading, build plate, chassis number and then any other points of interest such as notable options, accessories, modifications an so on.

    LISTING DETAILS

    We will require you to give us a full description of your vehicle.

    This should consist of

    -The vehicles Make, Model, Trim Grade, Engine and Transmission Specs, Year & Kms.

    -A breakdown of any known history

    -Exterior Condition and Faults

    -Interior Condition and Faults

    -Known (not assumed) Mechanical history and any faults

    -Modifications

    -Notable Features and Rare Options

    You need to consider fairly covering all view points with your photos and or optional video for the buyers so as not to hide anything so they can make a clear judgment on your vehicles condition. If the images and/or information given for the listing are not a fair representation of the car your listing will not be accepted.

    EXTRAS

    You need to consider the position of an offshore buyer wishing to purchase your vehicle. They cannot see it in person. Offering a AA or VINZ pre purchase inspection with your listing will help with its sale as this is an independent assessment of your vehicles condition. Buyers offshore are willing to pay strong but fair prices but expect in return as transparent and honest sale as possible. This may include compliance / registration or other numerous technical import process that differ in international markets. As international sales involve incredibly complex steps the value and security we add to the buyer through a streamlined process coupled with cost advantages of our volume rates mean it is a win win for all three parties. With a local buyer we can not offer that value and they will not likely be willing to pay us for our time. Further more they will also expect us to stand behind your vehicle under local consumer law, this will require margin comparative to risk.

    However we understand locals may see your listing, desire to purchase and approach us. Due to requiring a margin on a local sale we will not be able to offer you the same price as an international sale. You will have the option to choose to proceed with a local sale based on a payout price acceptance or continue with offshore targeting.

    Can I sell a vehicle with finance owing?

    We can not export vehicles with a security against them. All securities will need to be removed prior to the transaction finalizing otherwise you will need to go the dealer wholesale route where we will obtain a sale offer from local wholesalers / dealers.

    Can I sell a vehicle if I am not the owner?

    You will be required to prove beyond a doubt you are the owner of the vehicle been sold, if not we cannot export the vehicle and the transaction cannot take place.

    What currency will I receive if the sale is offshore?

    You will receive your local currency at the bank sale rate on the day of the transaction finalizing.

    Is there any local support for my buyer offshore?

    Yes we have staff based in, Japan, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand and remote assistance through partnerships in Australia & Canada so we are able to not just ship them a vehicle but take care of everything required to provide your vehicle to them road registered. Simply they purchase and we take care of the rest turn key.

    Will I get a fast sale with export?

    This depends on the desirability of your vehicle in other markets, the condition, the effort given to pre marketing and also your realism with price. There are many costs involved in getting your vehicle to other markets and not everyone is willing to pay the total price once it all adds up. Coming up with a realistic price expectation is important for results. Regardless classic vehicles are not fast turn over and all though some may sell within days, some can take months or even years depending on how narrow the market is. Patience is key and provided your willing to negotiate with any reasonable purchaser in time your buyer will come.

    Can I list my car on here for a price and just wait and see if a buyer comes while I enjoy it?

    Sure this is what classic cars are about, an investment you can also enjoy, if you have a price you would be happy to sell for you can put it out for this and enjoy your car while you wait for the day someone willing comes along. They need to be driven sometimes to maintain condition. What we ask is you be transparent with us if this is your plan. Also we ask you keep us update with details such as mileage and any other defects that may occur with usage.

    Is the transaction secure?

    Yes we manage the entire process and you will be paid in full before your car leaves your driveway. We only accept TT payments like Swift, Fed Wire etc. that can be tracked for AML requirements. We do not work with Pay Pal, Crypto or Bullion etc. This also avoids any issues for the purchaser with customs clearance etc.

    Remember your part will also be to provide a secure transaction for the seller and you will be required to prove beyond a doubt that you own the vehicle for sale and that it is in your possession in the condition stated at the point of transaction.
